Adapting your screen
Resizing text
You can enlarge the text on this site:
Using Internet Explorer:
- Click on the 'View' drop down menu
- Click on 'Text size'
- Choose your preferred text size from the list
If the text is still not big enough:
- Click on the 'Tools' drop down menu
- Click on 'Internet options'
- In the 'General' tab click on 'Accessibility'
- Select 'Ignore font sizes on web pages'
- Click 'OK', then 'OK'
- You should now be able to enlarge the text further using the
method above.
Using Firefox:
- Click on the 'View' drop down menu
- Click on 'Text size'
- Choose your preferred text size from the list
Colour of text and background
If you require specific colours to view the site more
easily:
Using Internet Explorer:
- Go to 'Internet Options' (as above) and choose 'Colors'.
- You can change text and background page colour as well as the
colour in which links appear, then click 'OK'.
- Choose 'Accessibility' from within 'Internet Options' and click
on 'Ignore colors specified on Web pages'.
- When you click 'OK', this should ensure that the page you are
viewing now appears with your specifications.
Client user machine minimum specification
Internet connection
- An Internet connection with a minimum download bandwidth of
256Kbps is required
- 56K is not specifically supported, although 56K users aren't
prevented from using the site
User machine specification
Please note that this specification relates only to the Number
Partners site and does NOT reflect any requirements for use of the
resources and external sites that it may link to.
Windows
- Windows 98, 2000, XP (Home and Pro) and Vista with a minimum
of:
- Graphics card and monitor capable of high colour setting (16
bit minimum) and 1024 x 768 screen resolution
- X86 Processor running at 800Mhz (or equivalent)
- 256MB RAM memory
- Windows Software (we recommend latest version of all
software)
- Internet Explorer 6.0 (or above) or Mozilla Firefox
- Netscape Navigator and Opera are not currently supported
Apple Mac
- OSX as a minimum (10.x.1)
- Graphics card and monitor capable of high colour setting (16
bit minimum) and 1024 x 768 screen resolution
- PowerPC G3 processor or above
- 256MB RAM memory
- Apple Mac Software (we recommend latest version of all
software)
- Mozilla Firefox, Safari or Camino browsers
- Netscape Navigator, Opera are not currently supported
