Number Partners games
Volunteers can use various games in their session with students.
We have produced a downloadable booklet of some
of the most popular games so that you can familiarise yourself with
these before you visit a school.
Free games:
Games, suitable for all ages, can also be found in Appendix 3 of
the downloadable volunteer
handbook. You may choose to use these when you
need a change or if you have a little time to fill.
The following three games can be downloaded and printed onto
card for use in sessions. You will need to provide dice and
counters which can be ordered from education-interative.
'Power up' is a simplified version of 'Nubble'
which can be bought from Education interactive
'Save' is a simplified version of 'The Savings Game' which
can be bought from Education interactive
Suppliers of commercial games:
There are also many commercially produced games that you may
find fun. A company may wish to purchase a full set of 12 primary
or secondary challenge games to use in the sessions which are
supplied by Education Interactive.
Education Interactive
Education Interactive supplies the Number Partners games boxes
and carries a wide range of games and activities ideally suited to
Number Partners, including the very popular 24 Game.
BEAM
Education
BEAM makes the Number Partners Number Challenge games. These are
tried and tested and have been found to be particularly suitable
for use as part of the Number Partners scheme.

Tips for playing games:
- Keep control of the components; make sure players take
reasonable care of them. Take them out and pack them away
with care.
- Play the games more than once. Successive sessions will
develop strategies, confidence and deeper understanding of the key
financial ideas.
